Then the game swings the other way with Cold Snap returning to the outdoor rotation. If you haven't dealt with frostbite before, you'll learn fast. Stay exposed too long and your health just drains, no drama, no warning that feels "fair." It forces ugly choices: sprint for cover and maybe lose your angle, or linger for that high-tier loot and gamble you'll make it out. Candleberries being easier to find helps, and yes, you can pick up snowballs and pelt your friends, which is the kind of dumb relief you need when the weather's trying to kill you.

How I'm Approaching This Patch

What I like is the push and pull. Shared Watch nudges everyone into the same fight, and Cold Snap punishes anyone who gets complacent or greedy. So I'm running lighter, moving cover to cover, and treating every big ARC engagement like a public event where extra guns are welcome. If you're gearing up for a long session, it doesn't hurt to plan ahead with cheap ARC Raiders gear in mind, because the patch rewards staying ready more than showing off.
